This transmission is a hefty step up from the 800HP build. In this build we add a Sonnax HD intermediate  shaft making this a full billet shaft transmission. The   converter receives an upgrade to an extreme duty  lock up clutch. This converter has a stronger lock up  clutch configuration that will handle more power &  load. We step up to apply regulated lock up as well  which allows the use of 180+psi line pressure with out risk of converter ballooning. We also upgrade the 2nd gear band from the kevlar flex band to a rigid 2nd gear band. The rigid band cannot break from the increased line pressure like the flex bands can. If you are 48re swapping your 4th gen truck, and you are making  800+HP we highly suggest you skip this build and go to the 1500+HP build to get the 35 spline input shaft.  We have found that with the heavier weight 4th gen trucks, accompanied by the 3.42 gear ratio axles and 35"+ tall tires, the standard size input shafts run the risk of failing before 1000hp is achieved. On a 3rd gen &  down truck, this build is a solid 1000hp and down contender.
