Moving your shocks to the rear of the axle is imperative for chassis control. On most all trucks, the shocks are staggered, one in front of the axle, one behind. This works well for control and anti axle wrap when towing or hauling but does not allow the suspension to respond properly to chassis and shock adjustments for drag racing. Relocating your shocks to behind the axle and in a vertical mount condition will give you superior axle and chassis control. These relocation kits are an easy weld on to any AAM 4" or Dana 70/80 3.5" diameter alxe tube. They are 3/16" mild steel for mig or tig welding. Kits include billet alluminum shock mounts and grade 8 mounting hardware. We suggest installing your shock mounts inside the frame rails, as wide as possible for optimal chassis and tire control.
