A wishbone is with out a doubt the best way to locate your axle housing in the chassis! No binding or side to side movement throughout the full range of suspension travel! The quickest & fastest suspended door cars in the world run wishbone’s and you should too! Although Panhard & Diagonal bars are cheaper options, they move the axle left to right during the range of suspension travel. this is because they are mounted perpendicular to the 4 link, not parrell like the wishbone. As the suspension travels up and down, the Arc of the panhard or diagonal bar moves the axle housing left and right. This creates unwanted steering input and a less predictable chassis. If you're spending the time and money to add a proper 4 link kit to your truck, a wishbone is the only axle locator you should be considering. 
 
Wishbone can be built uo to 32" long and 22" wide. Weld legs to center of the slider tube. Avoid welding legs to ends of slider tube. Warping of bronze slider bushing may occur if doing so.
